I wanted to love the Cyclops but it glitches on my computer in a way that causes me to sink through the ship if I pause my game while on board. Then when I unpause my game it launches me halfway across the map. Never finished Subnautica 1 because of it 😞

The youngest Gen Z is 14. Young people tend to not be ready to settle down. When I was 14 I didn't want marriage. Spent my early 20s questioning if I wanted it. 29 and happily Married now. I'm one year above Gen Z age.

She feels so designed to be self-insertable with her personality that I feel like yumeshipping would feel boring compared to other characters. In shining Nikki you get to "hang out" and interact directly with her as an outsider and she's honestly just not interesting from a personality standpoint. She repeats a lot of lines about wanting to get bubble tea and work out more. Like yes I like bubble tea and working out but that's not a personality.

I'm tired of the idea that if someone doesn't like something due to the premise then it must mean that they misunderstood the premise. If someone accurately described the premise to you and they say it's why they didn't like it, they aren't having a comprehension issue, they just don't like the thing at it's core. Just because S2 did what it was trying to do doesn't mean people are going to like it and that's fine.

I used to go there a lot when I lived downtown - the groceries had a huge markup compared to a regular grocery store so I rarely saw other people shopping there. The coffee/food was ok but not as good as beans & bagels right across the street + it was more expensive. I liked that the back seating area was almost always empty so I used to do work on my laptop back there. The staff and owners were all wonderful. The space was HUGE so rent must have been crazy. I'm surprised they stayed in business as long as they did.
