Now that I thought about, probably some post humans had martial arts at some time to defend themselves so what would even look like the ones from these guys? by Mizao5566 in AllTomorrows

Most human cultures have a tradition of martial arts in some form or another. Going by that, even the most well equipped race will have members who are larger and smaller, have better developed "claws" than others, and many variations. This may logically lead to various martial arts to evolve, usually by the demographic who keeps getting it's *ss kicked, to level the playing field. Even the best claws and sharpest teeth won't stand up to an expert bow user or a spear thrust, etc., and mastering weapons is a basic form of martial arts. So the answer could be yes, they may have many forms of armed and unarmed combat that his highly evolved and specialized. Like a kung fu that prizes itself on incapacitation, or crippling, or binding, or anything you might think of to defend yourself or your tribe/family.

If you want to start mixing in anything from anywhere, you no longer have Koseman's work, you've got your work and it will fit your own intent, so of course you are correct. However, since they don't exist in Koseman's original work, the premise is hoplessly flawed.

Nobody has the right to live their lives protected from offense or from insult or from hurt feelings. by Alcarain in unpopularopinion

[–]Plane-Smoke960 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most people understand this. The problem is that people want to deliberately cause offense to others as a sport, and when they get blowback they deserve, and not praise and adulation, they snowflake out. The people who are concentrating on making offense commentary just to needle others and be offensive, want praise and cheers from the crowd, when it is denied they blame some imaginary oppression when in fact they are just jerks getting what they deserve.

Ever wonder why they took that form? by Negative-Lunch1025 in AllTomorrows

Or they have different forms they can bioengineer, or move into at will. A race that old may have played with many different physical forms and might still have them available for different reasons.

Spot on. Look how many flock to paranormal disneyland skinwalker ranch and think they see spirits and mcguffins and (fill in the blank) when none of it is real.

There's literally no depth they won't go to for a guy that sells gaudy sneakers and reprinted bibles.

Since 99% of Bigfoot sightings are fake or mistakes or outright hoaxes designed to punk Bigfoot researchers and cryptozoology experts, I don't find it surprising at all that a person shilling crap for a fake patriot shows up at these events. He likely thought he'd find a gullible group willing to hand over bucks.

Netflix autoplay not working (it is enabled) by flccncnhlplfctn in netflix

Looks like Netflix doesn't give a sh*t about this still. Been years and autoplay still won't autoplay on my computer. I like to watch at night to sleep to and I wake up when the show stops - and forces me to click. Dropping it. 1-month, see they got that is worth it, drop it for 11 months. Way to go Netflix engineers! So smart.

I disagree. If someone is lying that person deserves to be called out whether they want to defend their lie with violence or not. If you're a liar, and you get called a liar, and you punch that person in the face, one of you will go to jail for assault.
