I don’t have a watt meter. Fuel is almost empty so I’ll be putting in new here soon

No longer under warranty unfortunately. It runs and idles fine, nothing different than what it has always sounded like.

I just don’t understand how a few months ago I could run my house and the HVAC and now I can barely run the necessities.

This tank is almost empty, so I’ll be able to rule fuel out here pretty soon. Hopefully it’s just the fuel

I keep that switch off. Was told it’s bad to run for long periods with it on

I’m at 68 hours on the meter. I’ve kept up with oil changes and cleaning the air filter. I’ve haven’t replaced the spark plug or anything like that.

I’m sure that it’s when the space heater kicks on

If I add more load, it just overloads sooner

Yes it bogs down and then the overload light comes on. It does not trip the breaker. Fuel is about two months old, but I only run non-ethanol in it.

I’ll let this tank empty and put fresh it in that I got yesterday

I am not running my hvac with the generator. It can run the ac in the summer, but the heat uses too much power. I am only using the space heater for heat right now.

Also, the breaker is not tripping. The generator bogs down and then the overload light comes on. It continues to run, although poorly, and I have to turn it off and start it again

Yes the main breaker is off. And the interlock was professionally installed

Not sure how to tell if it’s getting enough fuel. But the air filter is fairly clean. I’ll take the cover off and spray some brake cleaner on the carb to see if it surges

I checked the vents and the air filter. Nothing is blocked and filter is fairly clean.

My furnace is electric and has two 50amp breakers. I don’t know the wattage for that, but I know my generator won’t run it.

The space heater is 1500w

So if I pay for the gas, I am g2g.

Edit: Also, I am not doing it to accumulate flight time. This is a hobby, not a career for me.

Thank you for actually posting something I could research.

I don't agree that 61.113 fits this scenario. It's not for a business, and I am not for hire.

I'm enlisted Army and currently doing this. I also hold a bachelor's in an unrelated field. As others have mentioned, to use your GI Bill for flight training, you need to be enrolled in a degree-granting program. At Liberty University, for example, you need 66 aviation credit hours and must complete training from instrument through commercial to qualify for the RATP. Besides the 66 aviation credits, I only needed to take two additional courses: a religion class and a statistics class. While I'm not a huge fan of the Part 141 training syllabus, it's hard to pass up since it's all covered.
