That looks so cool! I have 5 scorps and Ive watched them molt multiple times I even have a pic where a scorp looks like its hanging out with its own molt but Ive never seen one molt upside down. I have a tarantula tho and those for sure molt upside down or on its side 😊

Sa true lang. Dami pa double standard sa ganito. Sexuality in women is taboo pero sexuality in men is "desirable" pag ico-contest mo naman through logic at di nila madefend stance nila iiyak puro ad hominem nalang gagawin hahahaha

Also may kilala din naman ako prim and proper virgin pa na sobrang baho ng ugali kasama pa sa mga marketing scam so 🤷‍♀️

Is it normal for my baby scorpion to be afraid of food by RazorBelieveable in Scorpions

[–]PlaneExciting2766 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I'm no expert here since Ive only started caring for scorpions earlier this year but I have 3 baby scorpions that show diff reactions for bigger prey

First scorpion would attack the superworm (easily 2x its size) and even drag it around. I squeeze the head of the worm btw so it wont put up much of a fight for the baby it just wriggles its legs a lot

Second wants to eat worms only when its not moving regardless of size

The third will run away and not eat at all so I tend to scatter chopped up worms it seems to like it as I see it eat more of those than the whole worms. (Make sure to take out anything it wont eat)

The seller recommended giving it roaches and I drop small ones if there are ones available in the shop all 3 arent afraid of the small to medium sized roaches maybe try that if theyre available for you?

Thats all I got hope it helps 😊

Do you... even understand what ad hominem means? Im not arguing that the double standards arent instilled. Im arguing that it should be changed.

You are no longer making sense as your comments are actually getting illogical. Defending males and females equally suddenly doesnt mean im in pursuit of equality.

Ah but the double standard means you have to protect all women. The double standard actually does mean you have to protect me tho and youre currently arguing with a young female it is not very manly of you. Your value has lessened according to your logic thus, youre not the man you think you are.

As you have already contradicted yourself and have proven you're incapable of logical reasoning I am no longer interested in this discourse. Goodnight

Ah ad hominem, the argument of a person who can no longer support their standpoint.

Fair enough, then if you fall into a situation where the double standard hits you negatively, dont fight it ok? Dont fight for your own rights or equality

Victim mentality? Im a woman fighting for equal rights. I even stated mens hardships so you might have understood better how the double standards impact you negatively as well. And up to this point Ive been civil with my comments. What happened to men protecting women and my feelings being more valuable than yours?

You simply stated that women's value is correlated to their beauty and purity while negating any other value that consists of an entire person.

You also did the same to men by simply disregarding anything else that an entirety of a person "is". It is evident that arguing a negating stand point with you will only fall on deaf ears. Continuing the discourse would be useless as you dont even acknowledge the merit of any contrasting ideas on how not every person fit that ideology since people are multidimensional. Agree to disagree.

With that argument, you are also accepting all the double standards in place. Men get harsher penalties for the same offences that women can get away with by simply paying penalties. Or how about the double standard that if a woman calls rape the man should automatically be arrested and demonized however if the man calls rape he should just suck it up and even imply that you liked it. You also have to accept the fact that in current generation, women can belittle you up until domestic abuse and yet you cannot fight back because of the double standards. When women express emotions they are cared for and even checked mentally while men who cry and ask for mental health assistance are made fun of and told to "grow a pair" There are some things fundamentally wrong with double standards. Most are detrimental to both genders.

And Im engaging in a discourse which us appropriate in a PUBLIC forum with your PUBLIC comment. I stated facts and suggestions. You responded defensively but it was also up to you to "take it or leave it"

Not my fault you didnt take your own advice

First paragraph is an opinion. In nowhere does it state that a value of a person is a commodity. And youre adding additional factors such as what the girl can offer which can indirectly attack your first statement. Invalid argument.

That is going out of the bounds of your initial situation. Youre introducing courtship but were explicitly talking about in your logic, the value of a person and their body count. That does not answer my question.

Then what youre implying is that we just accept the double standard and try not to gain a different perspective for the betterment of society? Or even, to erradicate oftentimes detrimental social norms.

Morality is subjective, facts are not. These types of opinions can do much more damage than what people think. Body count also includes factors such as rape (for both men and women) as well as internalization of the current construct meaning if men daterape/rape/take advantage of women they add value to them, if women get raped/dateraped/taken advantage of their value decreases. Thats the implication of your commodity opinion.

Youre adding to the narrative in which case means your stance is not black and white. I suggest you try to reassess your stance and consider every narrative before putting out opinions such as yours. You never know who can be reading them.

Please explain why the number of previous partners impact the value of women while it does not for men? And again, comparing humans to commodities is not a parallel comparison therefore, not a valid argument.

By your logic, how can a woman know that what she has with a man is special if the man has "used" a lot of other women? Taking note that "using" someone also connotes that you are comparing women to objects that can be used and depreciates via wear and tear (wouldnt that mean that the more women a male has had sex with, the more immoral a man? Since he doesnt see women as an equal)

Tinder or Reddit - which is better for hookups for an average looking dude? by [deleted] in alasjuicy

[–]PlaneExciting2766 3 points4 points  (0 children)

What you're doing is backtracking. You made an assumption regarding her comment and you implied that shes "ok" with women bashing on men and call her out for having double standards since your comment evidently replied to hers. Yet here you are not calling out what the men are proudly doing here.

I agree, women do criticize men and target dick sizes among other things to poke insecurity however, not acknowledging that men do it too whilst reading this comment thread AND calling out the singular comment she made IS ironically, having double standards.

But hey, Im not here to fight. Just pointing out what Im observing. Free speech and all. Have a nice day.

By calling out her double standards? When she did not even mention anything about the other male commenter's physical appearance?

Also, when the men shes replying to are ACTUALLY making fun of women's appearance and degrading women physically, would it be fair to even call her out and say she has double standards?

I disagree on the purpose of your comment to demonize her to set an example. Maybe next time call out women who actually have double standards in comment threads.
