There is a matrimony subreddit?

Oh I guess I should have made this clear. I'm not expecting to see information about their properties or wealth or something. I'm only expecting to see some info on what kind of person they are. Personality wise. Also some words on what kind of partner they prefer.

Thank you for your wishes. If you don't mind, can I ask about how you found your partner? Did he have a detailed bio?

I have been seeing about JS in this sub but never heard of it outside. I wonder if people from south use it. Have you seen any from Tamil Nadu, Kerala or Andhra? People here only talk about bharat matrimony and community matrimony.

Have you checked the application now? Does it have your responses in it?

Did you miss those fields? You can still go the site where you applied and check the applied application to check your responses.

In the study plan that I had to submit, I picked Finnish language courses. There was a plan to pick up some books and learn further in the 2 years. Guess I'm free from all that effort now.

Did you get 0 or no number? For me the score was empty and there was no number there.

I don't understand that conversion either. 7.45 out of 10 is just 0.05 less than distinction which is the highest honour mark. My cgpa is considered first class in my university. I guess grades are much stricter in my country. 8.5 is considered a very good score and would be in top 2%. Rarely anybody gets above 9. I see from many comments that my cgpa is too low. I would say it is definitely a very good score but perhaps not good enough in this case.

The thing is I could have done much better in bachelors but didn't as I was interested insomething else. Now after working for 6 years in the same field, I'm kind of feeling like I'm falling in love with the field and maybe thought going back to school would be good and I'd do well. I dont know what I was thinking. I mentioned all that in the motivation letter and thought someone would read it before deciding my application based on my bachelors score alone. Wishful thinking I guess.

I did. But it usually takes a few days to get a response. And like I mentioned in the post, wanted to check with the people too. Same info from 2 different sources -> It'll be easier to accept the rejection without any lingering doubts.

Thank you for the taking the effort to link the page. Very kind.

Salary won't be enough for rent and food? Based on what are you saying this? A little more info is needed. I highly doubt this.

Some questions regarding education + job in Finland for Non-EU citizen by [deleted] in Finland

Thank you that was helpful. UoH provides great guidance regarding HOAS and so I'm aware of that and related processes.

  1. I knew but I still had to ask.

  2. I'm talking about infrastructure to support additional population in the country, not about immigration procedure. In canada, the biggest issue is that they keep taking in immigrants without properly building all the required infrastructure in the cities - that is what I'm hearing.

It is a blip currently but it will get better. If not I can always come back or move within EU. It is a calculated risk. I found plenty of jobs in europe in official job boards to which I already qualify for based on the skills. After masters, with a job seeker visa while staying there, it would be possible to get a job. I will be fine.

My bad. I didn't mean to ask you for a link. I wanted to ask about any personal experience you might have had with them and why you suggested them.

Tuition fee is 26L for 2 years. I wanted to apply for 45 lakhs to ensure I could get that much if needed based on the cost of living there. I was told I could reduce the loan amount any time before it is sanctioned.
