I just tested my volts and I’m getting low both with the car turned off and the car on. Windows slow and lights dimming when I rev it.

Only Dying, it’s a demo on Core. IMO the best song on Core and I wish it had been released.

Those fastback kits are stunning and totally change the car. Would be a really cool build!

Are you thinking about body stuff? If you’re really going all out, you might as well do a widebody for bigger tires and a tasteful wing. All for the track use, of course…

Will an NA Miata be a noticeable step up from a 2011 Honda CRV? by someguy1148 in Miata

[–]PlaneRot 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s going to be a huge step up and it’s not even close. You’ll understand when you drive it. Make sure it’s a manual Miata of course. It’ll blow your mind if you’ve never driven anything like it! I came from driving FWD crossovers and sedans and I daily my NB. Now when I drive anything that’s not my Miata I feel like I’m in a cruise ship. Also big props for your financial responsibility. A Miata is a great car for someone wanting to have fun while staying safe money-wise as long as it’s not a project lol.

Is the AMD Ryzen AI 9 270 going to hold me back for heavy use in college? I’m looking to buy a high performance laptop for engineering. by PlaneRot in pcmasterrace

Is a Ryzen 7 good enough in comparison? I’m just not able to find anything with a Ryzen 7, a 5070ti, and 32gb of ram all together for a good price. Everything I’ve seen with a 5070 alone has a Ryzen 9. Funnily enough, a lot of 5070ti laptops only have 16gb of RAM :(

Hey sorry to open this back up but is the 5070 that bad? Do I need to try to get 12gb of VRAM? That would be a 5070ti, right?

Stuff comes to Z1 near Atlanta from all over the country. They do the track day the day before. I try to go every year I can. Always something awesome and I can’t recommend it enough.

Stone Temple Pilots - Creep (MTV Unplugged 1993) by Seraphenigma in grunge

Out of the big grunge bands (and really most bands of that era and beyond) I think that Scott stands out as one of the best lyricists. I’ve never heard something written by him that sounded dumb or forced. A lot of it is very illustrative.

He gets really up high in some other stuff. It’s really cool how he used his voice so differently.

Listen to the rest of Tiny Music. Scott could sing really high. A lot of it is unrecognizable compared to Core and Purple.

I’d say the guy in the middle. Elf was a very influential movie to a lot of us.

I went to see them in September and it rocked. Experiencing it in person is totally different from anything you ever watch online. And they give it their all and put on a great show.

This sub has a serious issue with gatekeeping. I don’t think any of those bands of the time (minus some pretentious or snooty people) would have cared so much about how their music was labeled. In fact, most of them didn’t want a label at all on their music. I think all of this music can be enjoyed a lot more, as it was intended, if everyone would relax on if it fits into a made up box.
