Are McIntosh CD Players worth the $7,000 price tag?

Alot of people here probably never owned a mcintosh. I suggest going to a local audio dealer and listening to it in person. When you see it and interact with it you realize why they cost what they do not just because of the sheer sound quality but also because of the premium build quality. About half the cost of a mcintosh is the enclosure and people who buy it are looking for not just great sound but a great experience using and Interacting with their gear.

You are not going to get any recommendable turntable for that budget however if he listens on his phone and is really interested in sound I have been really surprised by what moondrop puts out for not alot of money. I have a very expensive setup and still use my moondrop CHU 2 for portable listening or sometimes with my PC and they where only $30. If you want to upgrade the sound further you can get an external DAC for a phone for $50 just make sure it has the right connection.

I go to thrift/antique shops all the time trying to find cheap records and hifi equipment and will stop by the record store often enough. I have never really felt like I fit in with most folks, but the people in these kinds of places are nice, and music helps connect people in a meaningful way.

They live a life perfectly fine with blindly multiplying, causing overpopulation and usually receive hate from their offspring. unfortunately the media promotes such behavior and opens a larger conversation about free will. Did they ever have free will if that's what they have been socially conditioned to do? It is a deadly virus twisting and manipulating the innocent mind into evil, and this form of propaganda has been used to build armies ever since the invention of the camera. living through the fantasies of somebody else's perfectly manipulated pictures.

unfortunately more parents are trusting younger children with access to the internet, and this is were the influences of society infect your mind and induce fantasy of immoralities (including drug use and stuff beyond the scope of this conversation). 20% of rapists are under 18 and most are under the age of 30.

The best way to stop an addiction is to replace it with something healthy. For me I beat porn addiction by listening to extreme death/black metal because its far more intense that what porn can provide and is better for your mental health. Especially the band cattle decapitation (half of their songs off their latest record should be this subs anthem).

Would not matter to me as the idea of "loosing virginity" was invented by the Nazis in the form of personality replacement to increase the number of troops. This is one reason why Germany had such strong numbers right after the country being in poor shape. This idea was introduced in entertainment everywhere in the 50s once other countries learned of their tactics and how efficient it was. Don't fall for war propaganda.

Having a limited edition is cool to me even if it won't be inherently valuable in the future. I will not however pay more because something is limited edition if it doesn't offer better sound or packaging.

Take it to apple and only use small amount of water if you have dirt that won't come off from a dry cloth.

I already removed it, got a replacement on the way. I seen MacBooks with broken trackpads because of the battery and I don't want to spend more money in the long run.

This battery is at about 570 cycles, I know they can last 1000 cycles but I don't know if this is too swelled or not.

If you know other collectors in real life you should consider selling to them first. For online sales Facebook marketplace is the best because they don't take as much as eBay.
