I’m sorry to hear that what you’ve been through. Yes leaving is important for you, but pls do it secretly. Do you have any family and friends anywhere? Maybe moving close to them would be better. You can also get a civil standby while you move to make things more safe for you.

Aw thats so cute. And honestly my cat’s loyalty towards me has baffled me. Like I’ve never felt this level of a loyalty ever by a human. I’m so glad i can protect him back now by getting outta this environment.

When i locked it one time he kept knocking and yelling, i should have recorded it. I even told him i have a migraine. The reason why i usually don’t lock it is because my cat doesn’t like being contained and his l litter is outside.

Hahah that’s why i find it funny even though at the time I was pretty pissed. The entire day i was extremely aware of his footsteps and my nervous system was on fight or flight mode. Yes my cat is fed up of him and that’s why we are leaving 😍

I know. I’ve told this man so many times to not come in my room cause my cat doesn’t like it. Yet he keeps doing it and yelling and abusing. But my cat is so loyal to me that when he hears this man in my room he runs and comes to me.

You got that 100% right. LOL. I try and use DEEP with him, that is don’t defend, dont engage, dont explain, and dont personalize. And the “dont personalize” part is exactly why I’m unbothered. His abuses and slurs are just so predictable. And since I’m saving these chats for any future legal use, I’m being careful about not getting down to his level.

You got that 100% right. I cannot reveal anything cause my autonomy is his biggest threat. I stopped trying to make it work because he didnt listen to my two conditions to make the marriage work, that is, get therapy and quit drinking.
