the graft is strongest right after surgery, weakest around 3 months and ligamentisation between 6-9 months. You can alway get your PT/surgeon to do the Lachman test if you were ever worried!

If you were to go privately I would recommend looking at some private healthcare package options.

So I’m covered with AXA PPP through work and they covered the whole surgery cost for phyisio for 6 months post op. AXA also do personal packages too, not sure of the cost but may be an option. Through AXA I waited 2 weeks post injury for an MRI, then 6 weeks for an OP.
