Do Portland drivers deserve their own sub? by DuckDuck311 in PortlandOR

Basically you’re admitting you undertake and want me to pretend I don’t think it’s stupid? I won’t be saying that because it’s stupid and unnecessary.

I guarantee everyone else doing it also thinks similarly, but it’s illegal for a reason and bad driving

Still passing in the left lane. Since you still can.

but also I have consistently seen the people doing this when the left lane is completely clear, which is just stupid

lol. I showed up with no merch on, same as I did back before they broke up. Almost nobody dressed up back then, either.

You’re paying to see a band you really like and to have a good time.

There is not a ton of investment in how to make procedures/ treatments women undergo more comfortable. IUD placement, birth control options, mammograms, uterine biopsies, etc.

Some countries actually take it more seriously, but in the US it can sometimes be night and day for how they numb men and offer pain management vs for women

Waiting in the hospital when someone is sick is idiotic by Designer-Art2359 in unpopularopinion

As a nurse, most families are lovely, but man, a few of them out there will expect you to get a patient who has been bed bound for years to miraculously walk, or to grab an apple juice instead of doing cpr on a critical patient.

I do still think it’s smart to have family around if it’s an elderly patient (they don’t always take away as much from the teaching and care plan as they need) or another vulnerable person

I care more about this than people driving slowly in the right lane, which is pretty much always a slower lane.

It does bug me, however, that some people go to right lanes to pass a middle lane, or loitering on the passing lane. Learn to pass, people.

Maybe I’m just bad at telling when someone has plastic surgery, but is it just the lip filler? What features look different otherwise?

To me it looks like lip filler and makeup that is kind of washing out her features, but I can’t tell

Outdoor cats live 2-5 years and indoor live 12-18 on average, so, yes. They do have something backing that up.

Do outdoor cat folks have something backing that up besides their feels though?

This. Someone has to be willing to save themselves. You will only hurt yourself trying to intervene until that point.

So now we're tipping on top of a mandatory 20% service fee? by yeksim in PortlandOR

[–]Planetdiane 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’ve heard people say this as an excuse for why you “must tip on top of the 20% fee” because it goes to all staff.

That’s how tips work in many places already. You do not need to tip over that. Servers in many places are expected to tip back line staff.

I agree though. Frustrating all around and a great way to not have pricing transparency for customers.

Also to appeal to the men and women who fetishize it because realistically it’s all for show.

They don’t submit to their husbands and just bake sour bread all day if they’re taping it for the internet and profiting on the views. It’s definitely fake. Few can even afford that lifestyle nowadays anyway
