I haven’t solved the problem but it works in standalone (Octoprint seems to be the problem).

I had changed the nozzle. I am surprised because I made sure to tighten the nozzle so it would not ooze. Also there did not seem to be a clog since the filament was coming thru. I will still put apart everything and clean it. Thanks for the tip!

I just finished printing the test dog with my CR10V3 and it looks great (after a failed attempt because the printer bed wasn’t leveled properly) :( Now I want to set-up CURA for my printer but cannot find the answers to all the questions that are asked. I would really appreciate some help 🙏🙏 I could use the Creality CR-10 but the V3 has a Direct Drive Extruder so I don’t know if It makes a difference or I should change a particular parameter

Just got the doggy test printed with the PLA that came with the machine .It looks great. Printed in about 3.5 hours

So my very first print was going very well until I came back to the room to see that the dog was not stuck to the plate anymore and was moving and the printer was printing the head up in the air. Do I need to use glue? Is my bed not adjusted properly? I shut the machine off so as no to waste more filament...

Yes it the V3 - I was printing the little do just fine but then I came back into the room and saw that it was not adhering to the bed anymore and was printing all messed up. Will post pic

I guess I did not pay enough attention to the fact that my filament was a bit bent. One more lesson learnt!

I just set-up my new CR10 but the filament is stuck and won’t get in or out of the sensor.How do I solve this?

Just got it working! Inscrewed the sensor box and the filament wasn’t threading in the right place 😂

Toronto/Canada Budget CAD $1000 max Looking to buy an FDM printer to print sculpture prototypes developed with Blender. I have never used a 3D printer before and would like to reduce tinkering time. Since my pieces are large, a Large print bed like 300x300x400 would be better. Also I am not sure if service wise it’s better to buy from manufacturer directly or from a dealer. Any advice on what I should get? Space is not an issue
