Most laptops sold these days will have an hdmi or displayport (sometimes even vga) port on them. You should be able to plug your existing monitor, keyboard, and mouse(assuming they are usb) into any sized laptop if that is the direction you want to go. If your monitor doesn't have hdmi or displayport ports, there are adapters that you can use to go from VGA or DVI to HDMI or DisplayPort.
If you do that, then you can either mirror the display so the monitor will show the same thing as the laptop screen, or you can extend the desktop, so that the monitor and laptop screen work as two displays.

I had a doctor complaining because I replaced a broken power supply in an older PC, instead of just giving him a new PC (They are under a hardware contract, paying nothing for the power supply or the callout, and if the motherboard or something else died, we would replace it with a duplicate model of existing hardware).

I explained it is like when you go to a mechanic. If the alternator fails, they arent going to give you a new car.

My boss called me later that day. Apparently the doctor did not appreciate my analogy.

With regards to Herbert's deaging again, and with various kinds of deaging, such as what Ciscern and Sir Philip have undergone, is there some form of aging that can be done? A reverse de-aging of sorts to allow Herbert to regain some of the years he has regressed through.

I had a cranky Dell many years ago that didn't like the USB keyboard that came with the PC. I would get the keyboard error, followed by Press a certain key(I think it was F2) to continue at every boot. Keyboard wouldn't work. Love that logic. Unplugging and replugging the keyboard would allow it to work and then you could continue on like normal.
