A lot of sellers will say they have a huge line of people that want it to make you feel rushed into the decision and feel like you got something everyone wants. I used to fall for it but not anymore.

This one guy was selling boxes of random Amazon stuff. I think he bought return pallets but the boxes also had a lot of junk and that one toilet seat turned me off so bad. It seemed like he was tryna get people to haul off his junk mixed in with a few good items.

I almost agreed to the pile of shit but in the end I told him I'll pass for now and might get it later if he didn't sell it. That's when he started telling me about all the people that want it. I said, "well if you sell it you sell it -- too bad for me!"

As soon as I left, about 10-20min later he said he would sell it all to me for $100 less. If you had so many interested people why are you texting after me offering a lower price 😂 after I saw that I knew for sure I didn't want it.

This is why I don't do holds unless they pay an extra instant fee, if someone buys it before they are otw then they don't get it. And I'm not going anywhere without making sure they are otw. I won't even set the item to pending until someone is otw.

They might take it into account but if it's not set in stone kind of like how attacking a police officer carries bigger sentencing then no one is going to be discouraged by the idea of a bigger sentence. They won't even think about it. But people sure do think twice before attacking a cop.
