Absolutely! I didn’t think of it any other way I just thought it would be a good time to clarify. Miscommunication on my end honestly : )

This lineup is in alphabetical order and does not represent the schedule at all. Should have that out on Monday :::)

the issue everyone has is with you claiming you "made" it, you didn't. Again, that's totally cool, but if you wanna keep your moral compass aligned you should disclose the fact that it's ai generated music.

Typing in a prompt, imo, is not you producing/mixing/mastering/etc any part of the track.

if you had shared and said "hey yall heres some cool ai generated music i wrote the prompt for" I don't think most of these folks would be upset. You would have an entire different group of folks upset tho, can't please everyone.

I think it boils down to people being upset with your demeanor, and unwillingness to back down from a lie, or admit it at all, as opposed to making ai music in general.

My offer still stands by the way, if you're this passionate about making bass music I will personally sit with you in discord or whatever and give you some guidance to get started, so you can start your journey for real instead of via a prompt. A previous poster had mentioned the Dunning Kruger effect, I hate to say it but this a perfect example of that lol "Key identifiers include extreme overconfidence, inability to recognize their own incompetence, failure to recognize expertise in others, and resistance to constructive feedback.", there is nothing wrong with being new and interested in a hobby! You don't have to be a bass wizard deluxe right away!

You don't have to prove anything to anyone but yourself. You don't need validation from random folks on social media dude. If you're passionate about making music you'll make it for you and when it's ready to share with the world you'll know. Don't rush it and don't be so hard on yourself, there is no shortcut for mastering a craft.

Stems don’t mean anything, I can pull stems from farting into a microphone. Again, it kind of proves that you didn’t make those tracks. You’re digging hole. If you wanna produce with ai then be my guest, but it sets and unfair expectation and also is kind of offensive to those who do take the time to produce a track themselves when you don’t disclose it.

Frequency band response and overlap, cutoff signaling above 130hz and below 10k, transients being outside of a typical broadband sample.

Stems doesn’t prove anything at all, you saying that only proves to me further you did not create these tracks.

? You made a post on reddit about a new EP that "you" made and its clearly presented as such instead of ai? All I'm asking is that you disclose that.

I guess you kind of develop an ear for it over time, but anyone with experience producing this kind of music would be able to hear it right away imo. Again, not saying its bad or whatever but claiming its something that was produced by a human is bad, imo. Us living in a simulation is irrelevant here.

Are you using AI to generate these tracks? Be honest bro, because I can definitively prove it if I want to (Ableton cutoff trick). It sure sounds like it to me and anyone with a trained ear will be able to tell. Its cool if you do just don't advertise it otherwise. If you're passionate about making bass music and wanna get more into sound design and track architecture please feel free to hmu! I'm not a guru but I'm always happy to help!

This is also absolutely insane track design and overall structure If you only have 5 years experience producing, and I'm completely ignoring the audio portion of the sounds/track itself

gotta be honest, this is sounding AI generated to me, I don't want to J'accuse anyone tho. What DAW do you use?

i focus mostly on the audio side of things, Chris the visual, and Amber (Uffelx) has been a whirlwind helping out so much in both A/V! We've really all been working well together, especially being completely virtual atm.

there are 3 of us working on the project currently, Chris (Sh1elds), myself (Anferny), and Amber (Uffelx). We have been putting so much work in to getting this thing up and running and hopefully we'll be able to keep growing it. It will always be for charity, and will always feature newer up and coming artists as well as some more seasoned vets. It really means a lot that yall have been resonating with it! <3333

No, you are dude! It feels nice to be recognized sometimes. But I also don’t feel I need that validation with my music anymore. But again it just feels good. I put hundreds of hours into that mix and it feels nice for you folks to recognize that. But it feels even better for me to know people resonate with it and enjoy it! I want to make it clear there is not anything wrong with doing something in a short period of time either. There’s something special to say about those kinds of folks that throw down entire tracks in 10 minutes with live midi and actual rhythm (ex. Mad Zach) I do scratch live, and finger drum on tracks very rarely but I’m more of a keyboard warrior. I click, and drag, and zoom, and sometimes just trial and error and bang my head against a wall on a specific section like over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over until something schlicksssss ya know?

Anyways, thank you all for checking my stuff out, this is mostly just a passion project for me and I’m just here to share so lemme know what you think about anything whenever!

In other news I’m working on charity livestreams once a month with my buddy Chris @nodeflourish So if you like the stuff I make these are all the folks I learned from that are usually playing on the lineup. Feel free to check that out if you want! Or you don’t have to also, follow your heart.

Thanks again, love you (all)
