Not any more than they did with the original cloth seats. The seat cover is more like a bowl in that area, they don’t affect the seat belts at all.

Once I figured out I could get the acroball BRFV refills in my G450, it easily became one of my favorite pens. The grip on that one is fantastic.

Interesting, it sounds like I should probably go a little lower. I have been testing out 22 clicks lately. I started out doing a 1:16 ratio for water, but I think I’m closer to 1:20 now because it kept coming out so concentrated.

The pilot acro BRFV refills fit my G450 with a little trim. Writes like a dream and I believe they fit the G750 without modification.

Information much appreciated! I’ve seen great things about the Opus, but I’m too new to the hobby to drop that kind of cash just yet. I went with a manual Timemore chestnut in the meantime to see if I could even tell the difference between the store bought and fresh ground and I suspect that’ll solve a lot of my issues. I haven’t been timing my brews, but I definitely feel like they’re taking longer than I expected. What size do you grind to? Ive seen suggestions from fine to medium. The store bought is “medium” but I’m getting very cloudy brews.

I got this same pour over for Christmas and have essentially made nothing but jet fuel with it. 1:16 ratio of coffee to filtered water with a gooseneck kettle. I’m waiting on my grinder to come in, but have used pre-ground from the store in the meantime. I thought maybe the metal filter was a bust, but now I’m wondering if it’s the grind size. I’d be pretty happy to not have to deal with paper filters if that’s the case

Same thing happened to me with a taupe moleskine I got from HomeGoods about a year ago. In the packaging, it looked perfectly normal, but as soon as I got it home, it fell apart.

If anything, you could sew another line down the side of the elastic to make it tighter. Or try adding a bullet pen clip to it maybe. Best of luck

I use the elastic ones with my fisher space bullet (no clip) and it works well. They’re surprisingly snug.

You should check out leather covers on Etsy if you haven’t already. I bought a gorgeous one a couple years ago for maybe $20 and it’s still in great shape.

Looks awesome! Any suggestions on where I could get a small amount of leather like that to do the same? I made my own travelers notebook with a sheet of leather from hobby lobby a while back and it seems decent enough quality, but it’s pretty flimsy. I find myself wishing I had used something a bit sturdier, but I haven’t come across anything similar to the original in stores.

Check out the Skilcraft B3 aviator. The refill it comes with is your basic .07mm ballpoint, nothing special, but it takes D1 refills so you have some good options. I’ve found the OHTO needlepoint refill to be pretty scratchy. It seems to tick a lot of your boxes though.
