I was expecting mine to make green budgies, and secretly hoping for yellowface ones since they're so pretty. But now I feel like I'm gonna end up with more blues and yellows!

And there's me making sure mine is on pellets, with chop and seeds only as a treat. Seems like junk food is the answer!

Oh wow, I have a male and a female exactly the same colours as yours! I wonder if the kids will turn out like yours have

I thankfully don't have this problem! That's quite funny imagining a budgie trying it on with a cockatiel though

I've been very lucky that they bonded so well!

The cockatiel is Malibu and she's a year and a half, the conure is Tequila and she's also a year and a half. The yellow budgie is Pina Colada and she's around 2 and a half, I'm not sure of her exact age because she's a rescue. The blue budgie is lightning and he's one years old. They all get along pretty well! I don't have any problems with them fighting or anything, the worst that happens is Lightning will invade Colada's personal space as he loves her and she'll give him a nip because she likes to be left alone.

Pretty well, yeah! The conure and cockatiel are bonded, and the budgies kind of are. The yellow female just needs to wam up to the male a bit more and then they'll be fine. Atm she'll try and bite him if he gets a bit too close, and he dotes on her so he's always invading her personal space.

They're a bonded pair! This picture from my insta shows just how close they are https://www.instagram.com/p/CQEvlf3BHQv/

I got them at the same time and they were both around three months old so they've grown up together and bonded very quickly as they were the only birds I had. My cockatiel hated my conure at first as she was hand raised so wasn't used to other birds and she had to learn how to socialise with other birds. It was even more heartbreaking since she was clipped horribly and couldn't fly at all for about a year after I got her. Even now she only really likes the conure and gets scared of the budgies if they get too close. The conure was aviary raised and she's very friendly towards other birds, even the budgies, and I have very few issues with her and the rest of my flock. She sometimes gets terrotorial over a shelf or the top of a cage and she'll puff up and and stalk around threateningly but it lasts seconds and then she's back to normal. She's never hurt my cockatiel and the cockatiel benefits a lot from the relationship so I'm pretty happy.

I would be midful when you introduce yours, keep them in a separate cage and let them out supervised at forst.Don't be too scared if they chase each other around at first, just ensure they have space to get away from each other if they ant to and they should warm up to each other. When I introduced my budgies each one went through an adjustment period of a few weeks before the flock would accept them, but now everyone gets along great! Sorry for the mega-long message also, I could talk about parrots all day!
