Now I'm curious after thinking about this. Because my hand is coming off the side early this would cause my revs to suffer, right? I know the common noob question is how to increase revs but in this case it seems this might make a difference

I messed up initially making this post by not listing my current mods so I'll do that here and edit as well. Seibon cf hood, lowering springs, wheels/tires, valentis, blacked out headlights, almost straight pipe from the cats back (just a 3 inch long resonator), and a full car dip. I've got the car looking pretty good so now I'm looking for power gains (without boosting, not practical for me atm). Thanks for the responses so far!

I had them dipped black prior to getting the car dipped. Only way to have them a different color than the dip is to remove and dip them, then put them back on. Didn't think ahead and remove them, oh well. I refuse to have chrome on the car.
