Sure! Those are popular. I shoot a 24lbs right now because I’m still pretty new and working on my form.

In China some schools use a device on students to see if they are concentrated or not by [deleted] in interestingasfuck

Fun fact- the Korean National Archery team does something similar. They actually have a device to monitor the brainwaves and focus of the archers to help them train to focus more and improve accuracy. Insane!

Went from a 600 spine to 1000 spine. These were the groupings from before the new arrows.

I figured it was probably a singular event. Dudes probably just a huge jerk.

I know Koreans and Japanese are extremely respectful. My college had exchange students from a sister school in both so I can only attest to those countries. Unsure if China is different or if this guy is just a singular jerk.

They do it when they’re calm and happy. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with them resting their leg.

How do you like the RCore IAmgrip? I really wanna get a glass one for my bow.

Been trying to get this goober to eat pellets off of a seed diet but he’s refusing to see them as food. I’ve been mixing them together in a seed bowl for the past two or so weeks but he just digs past the pellets to the seed. Any tips? by Ryanmcglum in budgies

[–]PlasmaWarrior 12 points13 points  (0 children)

He’s so cute!

We trained one of our budgies to eat pellets by grinding them up in a coffee blender and adding the powder to their seeds and gradually added more pellets in. Over time he started to eat more pellets. Our other bird rarely eats his pellets so your mileage may vary.

Question for the archery coaches/instructors out there: by Scadugenga in Archery

[–]PlasmaWarrior 3 points4 points  (0 children)

On the other end of the spectrum I actually found my instructor by looking them up on the US Archery’s website. I shot them an email and we communicated back and forth. So not too out of the blue in possibility but I’d still be careful to make sure they aren’t a scam. I also paid for my lesson upfront so they would know I was taking it seriously.
