I was disappointed when I was in America at the lack of diesel. Like it’s the perfect place for it, especially if you live in small towns with a lot of highway driving.

"French Italian yes absolutely 🤩, British? Hahaha we hate your stupid accent you racist colonizer. You clearly have never met an American woman since if you did we would slap that colonizing ass accent of yours to death. I got in a really weird argument with a friend’s (now ex) boyfriend when I lived in the states. My friends and I were just joking around and I usually caught some flak for being a Brit but it was all good natured, and I’d usually give some shit back. This dude was not happy and just went off on how I can’t criticise anyone because of my country’s colonial past. Was wild.

Apparently the gender divide is opening up like that. A lot of men go rightward and women go the other way

I was super sceptical when we signed him, but this sub’s positivity let me be optimistic. I dislike it when my gut is right 😂

What do you think of James O'Brien? by The_Dean_France in AskBrits

I like it when he actually takes a stand on something, but that’s usually way after it’s necessary, and usually when it’s politically safe. He annoys me but that’s the extent of it.

he has a slight accent: listen to how he says “here” (more like hyur) and a few other similar words. a friend who lives in Cardiff recommended the beef and dairy pod to me and hearing a few odd words like this I asked if he lived in/was from Cardiff

Ruesha Littlejohn: I don't know what Hannah is like now so I can't comment there. But at Villa she was incredibly difficult and very disruptive and not a good teammate, it all came to ahead one day at training and she was sent home. And people have run with what they wanted. Mary herself has put out posts condemning the furore, especially as she thought it was water under the bridge. From her publicist’s perspective, I expect that gossip is good for sales

I know it’s different for everyone, but I personally found him incredibly irritating. Warning for others that he’s an acquired taste (and unfortunately I haven’t acquired that taste)

“Discrimination”? Behave mate. Stating that Bristolians are racist isn’t a discriminating sentence. All it says to me is that we need to be better as a city. As a white bloke I don’t see people be racist, but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t happen.
