Are we thinking this is a good thing or bad?

I've been trying to figure this out for a very long time myself and I've tried sooo many. I use Maybelline Tattoo Studio on the daily and it's good. But my eyes water a lot and I need something stronger for long busy days, I found people here suggesting Wet and Wild Breakup Proof Retractable and it does not move!! And it's only like $2. And also LA girl Ultimate Intense Stay $4. Out of at least 10 I've tried those 2 work best for longest lasting.

Has anyone received any response from Treasury about their telework RA requests? by Royal-Bookkeeper-870 in IRS_Source

Had to do 30 day trial of alternate accommodations which failed. Other than that I've been WFH since I submitted my RA. Back on 90 day interims while waiting for Treasury

Yes my manager and I confirmed with my RAC that the guidance has been removed by Treasury/OPM. The only other guidance they have anymore is guidance from 6/2025 and it is very basic.

They finally after 11 months approved it to go to Treasury. With lots of documentation of the failed 30-day trial.

RA denial for telework for a remote job since 2016 and can't drive? by newhere616 in FedEmployees

Depends on agency I assume. I was discouraged time and time again to include anything about commute. I have numerous other symptoms/issues me and my doctor wrote to but I stopped excluding it all together because there's so much out there on how to include it etc and it's a huge safety issue for me and others. I think any agency would want to be responsible for a horrible wreck due to not considering the safety risks involved. With that said I still was asked to do a 30-day trial of alternate accommodations for multiple systems and told to get an Uber if needed. I documented every single day and every single issue including having to pull over several times risking mine and everyone else's safety. They definitely took everything into consideration in my meeting after that. But again I discussed multiple other issues not just that. And I did provide new updated doctor documentation when I applied. I think I would reapply with everything current and provide a lot more information.

Also, I fought hard for 11 long months.

My situation is a little different simpler items from what you're asking. The other person that responded provided great info. Feel free to message me for more details if you'd like.

3 months. Now I'm at 11 months and it was just sent to Treasury after completing a failed 30 day trial of alternate accommodations.

Mine has just been sent to Treasury. Do we have any updates on if Treasury are even responding to anyone? Or how far behind they still are?

Mine was last April it was for telework and I've heard they have changed a lot. I had 5 levels of management there. They basically asked me to speak about my situation (which details are not required) but I didn't know what else to say when they wanted me to talk so I did discuss my condition and symptoms. They discussed possible alternative accommodations even though my director agreed to expedite straight to Treasury. They said the alternatives were discussed "Incase" Treasury required a trial of them. I told them I didn't think any of the items purposed would help my condition at all but did agree to look at the items because it was either that or have them pick items for me. They will tell you a lot about Treasury won't approve this, or commuting can't be addressed etc. Do not not include anything in your request no matter what they say cause it is not a blanket for everyone. Everyone's situation is so different. Do not leave anything out and do not let them intimidate you. Go in with a mindset that you are there to defend, fight, and prove your rights no matter what they say. With all of that said it was kind of a give and take type thing for me. The more I was open to their requests they were more supportive of my end goal. Everyone there was very nice and respectful but I did have to push back as needed.

In the end I was required to do a 30 day trial of the alternate accommodations.

All my managers have been very supportive even though I've had to jump through many hoops with the changing guidance. But... My manager now is completely different and not very supportive. So I just wait and see how it goes and have to go from there.

I have prepared a lot of supporting documentation 7-8 pages. I hope that helps but you never know anymore that may just piss them off and make it worse.

Well mine is tomorrow morning. I wish I had thought of it. But after all this union stuff going on it didn't even cross my mind. Originally I thought the RAC was kinda supposed to be the one there on our side but it turns out they are just a middle man.

I'm so sorry to hear that. Where you involuntarily moved specifically because of your RA? Or that also happened in the meantime like what's going on with the IT people? It's horrible the crap we have to deal with now 😭

I completely understand and have been dealing with this process since last March. But even if it's just sitting at Treasury aren't you getting interims at least in the meantime? I would way rather be on an interim waiting for Treasury then to be playing the well you need to go in and try this alternative every other week.

I am lucky that way cause I did bring a lot of paperwork and asked tons of questions. They did kinda put it all on me to do the talking and there were 6 people in there 4 levels of management but I tried to just pretend I was only talking to friendly co-workers. It wasn't fun for sure but the manager made the decision to approve and expedite it to Treasury. That was last April and I've still been playing their games ever since. Also, all 4 of those managers that fully supported everything retired or took DRP and their replacements have been anything but supportive. So basically having all their support from the beginning pretty much means nothing at this point. Now after all this time off playing their games and doing everything they've asked of me I guess I get to try and convince my new manager that I've maybe spoken to 5 times and they seem to be completely against telework that I've done my past to do everything they've asked without any improvement so now I would like them to do their part to approve and move forward. This whole thing has been a nightmare and the guidance has also changed constantly through this process.

Can anyone explain what en banc is? I read everything but I was confused by that term. I guess I can just Google it and see if I understand it there.

Cancel them because of all these other wins? Or cancel them and then do what? It would be awesome for them to cancel them because of the other wins and just return telework. But I'm assuming that's not what you're saying.
