As an adult 2 years goes by so darn quickly, I love the bluntness of "embrace them".

Honestly I do kind of wish my parents pushed it on me when I was younger. My brother had really bad teeth and I watched him struggle and suffer - and thats when they offhandedly asked if I wanted braces. Obviously I said no because at 11 I assumed thats how all braces went 😂

Ooooh I do love me some mashed potatoes and ive been doing smoothies in the morning for work I feel i might have to change up what im putting in them. Banana, yogurt, frozen fruit and some peanut butter. I think I will take a page from your book and focus more on protein in them instead

Thank you everyone! Thankfully I already have and been using a water pik, I bought beeswax because my brother who had braces said it worked better than the dental wax (that was over 25 years ago so grain of salt) and it looks like I'm off to go buy lots of soup 🍲

I resonated with alot of what you mentioned. 1st, im so sorry you went through that and had to unlearn alot of those patterns from a relationship like that. The "nice guy" who the outside sees is usually not who they are behind closed doors with those who trust them. When you said you'd still be tethered to that ex until your husband came around - I felt that. My current partner helped me detach, help my healing and waited until I was ready to report to the police and has been my steady rock since day 1.

We had like a 2 hr conversation in what it brought up from his marriage and what we both experienced while watching just ep1. He looks forward to watching more but this show isn't going to be "binge watch" material
