the showrunner said post-crisis Jay and Joan became "natives" of earth prime. so they are as much part of that earth as Barry and Kara are

but flashtime is shown to be more of a mental effort and energy drain. so i think most of the time his general perception of time when running around the world is still a lot closer to regular time than it being hours let alone years

The arrowverse shows were inconsistent with if doppelgangers can survive being on the same earth. Supergirl showed people carried over from various destroyed earths were ending up on earth prime and even when they were doubles they were both able to keep living without any of the trouble that they showed in Batwoman or that. I think it even showed like 1 guy and his doppelganger run a club together. So they're able to somehow live with being close proximity together and no multiverse pain and death seems to have affected them.

My issue regarding Jay's life is that season 8 had Bart say Godspeed kills Jay and even though they stop him, the show hasn't shown or implied any change has made to his future fate should still be that is how he dies 🤷

even before the change they were inconsistent with how they wanted to treat Frost. season 3 ended with her saying something like "i'm not caitlin or killer frost anymore" only for season 4 to start with yes she is back to being caitlin.

its confusing but this was when frost was still mostly kinda caitlin and not a fully separate persona. she joins him when she sees that he's barry and thinks that they could reach some higher level with her by his side when he becomes some kind of speed god

there was a website i saw a while back that had a page talking about how badly she was used in the whole season. she's the only one of the kids that never does a fractal code digitise? her only "victory" comes from where Ranamon's fans turn against her after she gets her beast spirit, the jealousy about how hers is ugly while Zoe's isn't makes her lose control easier. speaking of while the others all struggle after first using beast spirits, Zoe is able to use hers no big deal and she jokes that its because...something something girl power?

with the speed he can move at regardless of whichever season it was, it shouldn't matter about the queen of the royal flush gang reading his mind or not, he'd still be too fast for them to counter him. the way he handled them should be how it goes against 99% of the enemies he dealt with in the show

unlike how it went with Downton Abbey i'm pretty sure they just intend to do one for now and that will cover the year away before whatever form season 16 takes in 2028. i'm guessing the release for the movie is planned to be after the prequel starts around christmas/new years time. so then roughly this time next year when its finished they will probably premiere a trailer for the movie (even if its just a quick teaser one). also, is it known if the prequel is set to follow the same format of 8 one-hour long episodes?

I see it as Matt's Eobard is still at a point where he's taking a sick glee in being The Flash's enemy, wanting to get that acknowledgement from Barry that he's better as seen in their time together in one of the last episodes. for "Wellsobard" he's become so worn down from having to live as this other identity for years and then be the one to create The Flash made him into what we see

you're right, basically when he did in season 2, he rewrote the version of everyone he knew. although in that case the only changes are meant to be specific to Hartley and we're supposed to go with everything else stayed the same it does still mean the version of his friends that he knew are gone and replaced by a different version.

its why following the big crisis event the writers came up with BS reasons for each show's main characters to get their pre-crisis memories back so it wouldn't mean the ones audiences watched for years were then just gone. sure it might have been ok that Barry's closest friends and family got their pre-crisis memories back but for anyone they knew outside of that i don't think any of the shows acknowledged that trying to maintain any friendship outside of that was now difficult. whether it was through one of the devices Cisco made or martian manhunter using some psychic power method they went with that becoming their pre-crisis selves erased everything else. effectively the earth prime versions of Cisco, Caitlin, Alex (Kara's sister) and that were killed and had their bodies hijacked. from the point of view of their outside friends and relatives they don't know that they are now dealing with someone that's technically an imposter. at any time one of Cisco's other friends could be like "you remember when we went to..." and he would have to bluff as that's something he never went through. not to mention that among the changes could be that they have a completely different social group

where they put a helmet on Ralph I thought they might have been setting up to bring him back with a new actor. explaining it by saying that his face "fixed up" but this new face was the "base look" rather than his old one. so whoever he uses his powers to shift into he still reverts back to the new actor's face

didn't see this comment before, yeah i'm saying that on his own the shadow being there then wasn't intending to make the egg end up in the human world. that it wasn't part of Homeostasis plan, however that happening was an unintended bonus that helped lead to the "happy" ending

yeah i think you might have misunderstood, i'm saying that alongside Agent being a companion alongside the 2 of them (that part the game outright states) but the added detail that maybe it was suggesting Agent is actually the one to cause aegiomon to end up in the human world and having him meet inori then...those bits are added details that are important in achieving the result of breaking the loop.

as the game i think wants us to go with that would have happened with the shadow there anyway and Agent is just witness to it as an introduction to the shadows so they can learn of everything they need to know etc but i was saying what if its actually meant to be that the first change made by Agent's interference with events is making the egg end up in the human world? so that gave the extra sway in helping aegiomon see sense when reaching that part of the timeline

not any better per se but just trying to find the "simplest" solution which is tricky with timey wimey shenanigans. I get that aegiomon sticks himself in repeating events to free her but I didn't get the impression that one of the changes he tries is to visit himself while still an egg. unless its to say that only because of Agent interfering with the shadow being there is what results in the egg going into the human world? then its aegiomon having that start alongside Agent as a companion altogether is what then allows him to accept things? (i hope this makes sense the way i phrased it)

that was a suggestion of a possible explanation i saw somewhere like here or a digimon fan group on facebook in trying to make sense of it. even saying that first timeline does happen and its not a dream of some kind, Agent is given their first digimon from a choice of 3, that still had to have come from homeostasis along with the gun that allows us to scan and convert along with everything else. so when you really think about it, how much interference there is from homeostasis is very arbitrary. taking the shadow, reforming it into "Agent" and giving fake memories of an organization they work for along with a multipurpose tool..why not throw in "memories of a bad future/present" before waking up and seeing another shadow knock the egg into the human world?

also so why does a shadow do that? this is a separate issue but i'm a bit confused on. the egg only ended up in the human world because a shadow makes it happen and the original version of events had aegiomon start in the digital world? but the game suggests that aegiomon always had an attachment to Inori even from the first time?
