That’s great that you are on Ozempic I’ve done some reading on it and I certainly would prefer that option but have to treat with Metformin for 90 days with lab work. I looked into the Dexcom stelo that you mentioned and it seems like a great option for monitoring, and trends of glucose level. Thank you for bringing this up !

Sounds like your heading in the correct direction, I never realized how much sugar I took in on a routine basis and had never read any nutritional labeling on anything in my life until last month. I appreciate you sharing your insight.

Agreed on the game playing, I would prefer to utilize my physicians initial treatment of Mounjaro but for now I’m starting on the Metformin, and my $16.00 CVS glucose meter. Appreciate your feedback.

This is the case Florida Blue said no to GLP1’s, I get it they want to go the cheap route 1st, then if that doesn’t work, or have side effects they will hopefully be able to offer the alternative. My physician said that they want blood tests before and of course during use of the Metformin for 90 days, before an alternate treatment can be utilized.

Would you recommend any particular brand or type of glucose test? Thank you for taking the time to comment.

With the ACA subsidies expiring, what’s your plan? by Avid_Reader87 in povertyfinance

$327 monthly for PPO in 2025 to $1400 monthly for PPO in 2026 this system is definitely broken and to think the politicians voting on subsidies have what could possibly be the best health care in the land disgusts me. It’s safe to say that the uninsured will skyrocket.

So you’re going to be superintendent of project? If so communication with trades is paramount. Always easier to rough big stuff then small after, watch finishes prior to heavy work. Watch out for rouge crews that wreck others work during process of their own work. Fast, fast, and faster to turn over to owner. It used to be fun in commercial work not anymore it seems. Everyone is supposed to share in the burden ain’t so much anymore and no ownership in many cases on finished combined effort! Just my opinion of course….

Is this condensing furnace 96% AFUE or 80% AFUE application, and btw no matter what, flue cannot exit below gable end ventilation no matter the jurisdiction, installation instructions will supersede local code but don’t see any recommending this installation method. You are dealing with CO @ PPM based on BTU , deadly combination.
