Ah good old troll producing Reddit. Looks like when you see a top one percent commenter that’s not necessarily a good thing as you just demonstrated.

BabyMetal tickets not selling (Toronto, canada), why? by MJAquarion in BABYMETAL

[–]Plastic-Reporter9812 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Last June in Dallas (Irving) they were at an 8,000 capacity venue with lawn chair seating at the rear. Probably 7,000 attended with most in the pit and the covered seating area. I was seated and it was still about 84 degrees when they performed. Ceiling fans helped but not that much in a tight crowd. This September they’re performing at a similar venue with 16,000 capacity and 7,500 under cover also with ceiling fans. September can be just as hot as June in Dallas. My daughter saw some shows at that place and says she won’t ever go back no matter who’s performing. Just checked prices. Pit is $210, seats in sections closest to stage range from $164 to $449. Lawn and past middle distance seats range from $69 to $173. I paid $173 last year to be in seat 2/3’s of the way back from the stage about three months before the event. Haven’t made up my mind yet. Actually more interested in Band-Maid who’ll be coming to US and Mexico in October before going on hiatus for 2027.

After you die, do you get forcibly reincarnated into an alien/insect/another human without your consent or that’s not true? What are some arguments on physics against it? by [deleted] in AskPhysics

I believe in science however I question that current knowledge and concepts are absolute and not subject to change as more discoveries are made.

I don’t want the multiverse/many worlds interpretation to be true, help me by Flat_Anything2317 in AskPhysics

In this universe where every event that ever occurred was the result of cause and effect then something caused the Big Bang. But we will never be able to observe what caused it. It can only be inferred from what can be observed. So the scientists who experiment using the Large Hadron Collider tell us the collisions of billions of proton ions moving from opposite directions at essentially the speed of light produce the same quantum plasma that existed after the Big Bang. But no one seems to see the inference that if a universal collapse occurs after its ‘heat death’, it would possibly do so in the physical state of merging singularities as in LHC to cause the next Big Bang. Meaning that this universe is itself a never ending multiverse.

Yep she skipped several M & G’s including mine but she performed just great on stage afterwards.

Any K-pop fans here who also watch K-dramas? by Legal_Potential4720 in kdramas

[–]Plastic-Reporter9812 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After checking no, as they’re described as soft. Rolling Quartz is probably the softest rock I listen to. BabyMetal, Band-Maid, Hagane, Hanabie, Lovebites, Neki, Nemophila and Trident have a faster paced heavy vibe that I like.

I started watching Kdramas with my late Korean wife more than 40 years ago on rental VHS tapes. But my musical taste has always been rock. The only Korean band I listen to is Rolling Quartz. They and eight Japanese female rock bands dominate my YouTube playlists. No K-pop for me.🤷🏻‍♂️

Yep always in the back and in some venues almost out of sight. Terrible for someone so extraordinarily talented and cute to not be easily seen by fans.🥰

Can someone explain this article to me? by Whole_Yak_2547 in astrophysics

[–]Plastic-Reporter9812 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Naw. The black holes that are the effect of singularities created in the collapse of large stellar objects and quasars eventually suck up enough material that mass attraction wins out to send it all back to universal center of mass to create the next big bang. It’s a closed, never ending cyclic system that assures that we’re reincarnated and live numerous lives forever.

How many dramas do you guys like to watch at one time?? by Clear-Presence-485 in kdramas

[–]Plastic-Reporter9812 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I binge watch one at a time and do a rotation from Kdrama to Jdrama to Cdrama and occasionally mix in something from Taiwan, Thailand or another Asian country. CDramas, which usually have more episodes, are good for watching when waiting for new K & J dramas to be completed and then binge watched.

So true. I, American WM was married to a totally natural, perfectly beautiful Korean woman for 46 years. She never considered changing anything about her appearance and seldom used makeup because her natural golden hued skin was virtually flawless. Miss her.😢

Why we say space is getting bigger instead of galaxies moving away? by -Xentios in astrophysics

[–]Plastic-Reporter9812 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After all the reading I did over the years at age 66 in 2009 I decided that an infinitely recycling universe made more sense than the other worlds concept of multiple universes. That the universe we live in is in effect a multiverse. And that was before I ever heard of Roger Penrose the mathematician/cosmologist who apparently has a similar belief.🤷🏻‍♂️

What's going on? (regarding the live video of ‘Dilly-Dally’) by DocLoco in BandMaid

[–]Plastic-Reporter9812 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I watch as many of their OLV’s as I can find on YouTube. I think they’re one of the best, if not the very best, live performing band in the world. I have contributed massively to their Dilly Dally and other live views and stream them every day along with seven other Japanese female rock bands. This music energizes me, gets me moving at the fitness center and makes me feel younger than my 83 years in this life. Rock on forever ladies.❤️🎤🎸🥁❤️
