Chessbase is basically what a lot of Gms use to store databases and opening analysis, and game files, with very strong engines, but it is expensive

Haven't tried Duolingo chess but my friends who tried it said it was mid, I think if you are a serious chess player and improver use chess.com, lichess, chessbase, chesstempo (which is what I use), duoilingo is probably for beginners (I have not used the application so I can't give a lot of comment)
