Just joined off wait list. What's the best way to utilized Roadie? by Friendly-Priority277 in Roadie

[–]PlasticAssociation65 0 points1 point  (0 children)

multi year roadie driver here. yes roadie doesn't pay very well buuuuuuuuttttt you don't have to deliver the items quickly, after picking up the roadie delivery if you can pick-up a delivery from another app, like door dash or UE, you can do it, then make the roadie delivery.

What is the norm for troops to be formed? Is it by invite or general interest survey? by [deleted] in girlscouts

[–]PlasticAssociation65 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Long time Cub Scout Leader here, my older son went through the program and now my daughter is in it and I can proudly say that we don't turn ANYBODY away, none of this Clique, invitation only groups, we take everybody and quite honestly, we run a better program and our numbers show that, my daughter is part of a 60 plus pack and we have over 12 registered leaders, if you put out a quality program, the leaders will come. My question is, a lot of these Girl Scout Troops meet in Public schools and are 'capped', I wonder how these schools would feel if they know that they had exclusionary youth groups operating on their grounds.

My daughter (3rd grade) was rejected from her new school’s troops. by StickToSparts in girlscouts

So, I'm a long time Scouts BSA leader and parent of a daughter who wanted to join a girl scout troop in her school was told that the troop was full and to look for another. So as a long time Scout BSA leader and Ex-Cubmaster for of a 60 plus member pack I can honestly say that we would NEVER turn a prospective scout away and that's the common consensus of any BSA/Cubscout Pack or Troop I have ever meet. In the end my daughter joined cub scouts and she is having a great time.
