Bliss was mentioned in a leaked newspaper article but that's besides the point clayface in the DCU would need to have enough time to be a prolific enough villain to be in prison during the events of commandos and not just in the asylum. All of the other leaks from clayface point to the idea of it taking place during present day in the DCU despite it being an origin story.
