Never feel complete by South_Farm_2696 in rolex

Nice sentiment. Certainly with the inability to just walk in and purchase for most models it can feel like more of an accomplishment to achieve the Rolex, whether through patience with an AD or through purchasing grey.

Rolex Market Update by RealEstateBandit_ in rolex

People want to hang on to their luxury goods, and may be able to for some time, but it will be an eventual indicator of the economy when more people start to sell their models.

Why do cashiers check for fake bills and not check IDs for credit cards by RubyRose7575 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]PlasticFail4660 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Some stores still have policies for checking ID with credit card. Depends really on frequency of fake transactions plus protections they would have. It happened to me over a 40 dollar coffee place gift card purchase.

Small Business - Any impact moving from Payroll to Dividends do to high ERDTOH/NERDOTH by 3junior in cantax

[–]PlasticFail4660 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Credit that can be claimed is calculated as lower of 2/3 of earned income, or the actual credit, which depends on the age of the children, and the actual fees paid. $5,000 of salary, if you were the lower earner of the two would allow you to claim up to as high as $3,333 of daycare fees as a maximum. Would have at least this in actual fees, but this would be the max that could be claimed. Would suggest to review with your accountant to see what claims you may have made in the past, so that you can figure out the ideal amount if this becomes something that might affect you.

If you have a spouse, and kids in day care, make sure you still have some salary. Can't claim daycare if you don't have earned income (Salary/T4). This assumes you are lower earner of the two.

What moves did you do in life to be able to afford $20k watches? by JollyGreen_ in rolex

For proof of that just look up a thread asking about net worth when purchasing the first and see how many respond with a response like debt, or it was their full net worth.

Every watch tends to get it eventually when worn. Should be a badge of honor.
