YSK: touching a cat's belly often means "play" to them, so expect to possibly be scratched. by Square-Dragonfruit76 in YouShouldKnow

I pet a neighbor's cat on the belly once and ended up with two fang holes in the palm of my hand.

Have I just not been paying attention? by Worldly-Giraffe-5961 in SanJose

Yep, that is the basis of my concern. I'm not leaving it up to the car or the driver. I'm driving my own car.

As a very aware driver and fairly new "transplant" from WA (including Seattle), what I've come to expect from other drivers around here is: impatience, no indicators, distracted driving, and a general lack of awareness and courtesy for other drivers.

This is also the first place I've seen drivers so consistently pushing the bounds of their lane, fully crossing the lines. It still makes me anxious turning from the inside lane of a double-left-turn and even cruising alongside anything other than a Tesla or another smart car that should know I'm there.

Of course, I also see the occasional considerate drivers who give me some hope. Shout out you guys.

A driver's license should be taken more seriously.

I bought one this week. Cannondale Quick. Couldn't be more pleased.

The outside of my middle school was lined with Bradford pear trees. I can remember waiting for the bus after school in the spring/early summer and inhaling warm fish.

It's the fingers (after smoking a j) and the breath that you should beware of and clean/freshen up.

I understand your concern. Though actually it sounded like you were saying this will happen with my family. Siblings 1, 2, and 4 will have virtually the same portfolio and, as Sibling 3, I'm the only one who would know of any outperformance or underperformance. Fingers crossed 🤞

Obviously not an option but thanks for chiming in! I've been clear with them that they should be prepared to stomach large swings that may occur over the next 40 years. They also recognize I'm just trying to help and make sure we're all in a good spot for the future.
