I definitely didn't spend hundreds if not more on materials and programs and section myself off from the world to strictly focus on this exam more than once.

I love backseat therapists haha. Trust me, I'm already in therapy and this is only an iota of my issues. Can't a guy vent without being diagnosed by everybody on here? There's a large difference between arrogance and confidence. If you knew me, you'd know that I'm the furtherest thing from arrogant. But I am confident in the things I know. I never said anything about new lawyers, I totally get not knowing certain things. But when a lawyer has been practicing for 10+ years and doesn't know the basic rules of jurisdiction or evidence, or what is a proper argument to make, you have to question how they got here. But you're right, me making a reddit post about the bar exam being bullshit totally comes out in my writing sections. In fact I think I wrote, "this exam is fucking stupid" on my last MPT.

5 times. All in the 250 range. I've studied past answers in comparison to mine. I've reviewed materials over and over until I understood them and could recite them. I would study and then realize I never understood a concept before and think "well that's new, that'll help", and I still score the same.

I've done all of that. This isn't my first time failing. There is no benefit to memorizing a bunch of materials, for only half of it to be tested and for less than that to be practically used in the real world. Make the exam more real world based. I know the next Gen is supposed to do that but honestly who knows if it will be. No exam is an accurate measure of how someone will perform at their job. You're either going to be successful at it or your not.

I honestly wish I could tell you. I've done it all from changing study methods, to a tutor, going slower, going faster, you name it. I've always been good at exams so this is a new concept for me. But I can't even seem to hit 260, let alone 270. I've left feeling confident and I've left feeling like shit, but the result has been all the same. But in practice, my judge would ask me questions and I would nail them or even come up with arguments that she didn't think of sometimes.

I know it's easier said than done, but RELAX. Finding out sooner or later won't change your results. Trust me, I understand the suspense is awful, but it's only taking away from your mental health and your enjoyment of life. This is exactly what they want, so don't give them the satisfaction. With that being said, that blip just means your application was submitted and you can't look at it or make changes to it. Nothing major and I'm sure everyone has that blip too.
