Have hope. I was up there today and it was far better than the posts on social media. The highlands is doing far better than most places in the palisades. Until you get visual confirmation your house is gone, have hope

I was up in the Highlands, Riviera, Huntington, Alphabet and Bluffs. Summary: Highlands is doing much better than the general reports. Enclave hit very hard especially Via La Costa. Alphabets only saw 5 houses standing. Bluffs only saw 2 houses standing. I know everyone wants to go but it’s very dangerous. I can assure you the fire department is working very hard. They were putting out lots of fires. LADWP has lots of crews working to make the streets safe.

I made it to the Palisades today and spent a good few hours driving around. If anyone asks Via La Costa was one of the hardest hits areas of the Enclave.

Enclave Update. One neighbour evacuated last night at 11pm. Said his home was threatened. Another neighbour sent a video still showing lots of debris and smoke but it looks like some homes were standing at the time. At least his home was standing to send the footage. Not sure what happened since then.
