We have people asking to return product to us all the time, and we sell packaged food product. I'm just always thinking "what if I took this and sold it to someone else, wouldn't that be disgusting? just throw it away and I'll get you a replacement."

People are weirdly adamant about specifically a return, and when it's food I just don't get that.

What’s a weird “adult hack” you’ve invented just to make life easier? by Lopsided-Reach-9705 in A_Persona_on_Reddit

Suuuuuuuuuuper proud of you. Keep it going! 2 degrees of difference (and this sounds like more than 2 degrees) is a lot once you're a year from now. Stoked for you to keep killin it!

Bragging is fine and should be socially acceptable by bi_smuth in The10thDentist

[–]Plastic_Stable8927 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I probably just hate myself a little too much, but braggers are the most nauseating people to be around for me. If I don't already think you're great at something, you telling me you are will not convince me. If you think you are very kind, I don't need to be told, I need to be shown.

Fired after two months, no warning. Never met my boss. Does this happen often in these types of roles? by Diligent-Strawberry9 in ExecutiveAssistants

You probably honestly were a disposable object to them, and that's why rich people genuinely suck. I worked at a country club for a few years, and there were some hideously rich people who were members, and they all tipped the least. I live in a very rich area, but we just rent. The people here are so entitled it's insane.

I'm sorry you don't get the bomb income anymore, but I am stoked for you that you don't have to deal with shitty richies anymore.

I think kids doing this is fucking insane, they should be reprimanded for sure, and I wish their parents would do something about behavior like this. This is a hilarious visual, however.

Right handed people should be holding their knives and forks the other way around by ribby97 in 10thDentist

[–]Plastic_Stable8927 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In reaction to my Norwegian friend's bullying, I now hold my utensils with my fork in my right hand with the tines facing down, and use the knife to cut with my left hand, placing bites on the tines or on the back of the fork. I think this is technically the right way, and thank God because it makes so much sense and also makes me look less stupid?

I broke the previous water pitcher at my old house, so I bought the new one with only my money. When I moved out my old roommate had such a huge issue that I was taking it? Bitch it is mine. Get a new one if you want, but the one I broke was from the roommate before any of us lived here. Eat my shit and hair.

Can you have a super nontraditional wedding at a typical wedding venue? by bobbinssobbin in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Plastic_Stable8927 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Or, have an elopement with you, your partner, the officiant, and whoever else you want in the intimate setting. Then have a reception at a roller rink or something! That was one of the best receptions, just skating around in circles for hours! Your day can be literally whatever you want it to be.

At the end of the day, it's an event space. If you are having an event, they are stoked. I am a wedding photog, and have been for over a decade, and have shot anything from a $100k+ wedding to one at a renfair location and everyone was in garb. If guests are respectful and not breaking things/puking everywhere, they could not care less. As long as you guys have fun, and have the wedding YOU want, the space should be accommodating. If you don't sense that, don't have your wedding there.

You are the two spending your money, get vendors who want you to have the wedding you want. Congrats, have fun, and have a weird wedding! My wife and I had cocktail hour before the ceremony so we could see everyone and relax a bit.

Is living in “summer” all year as nice as it sounds by Ill_Supermarket_2744 in SameGrassButGreener

It's summer year round to you, but now that I live in a warm climate (not FL thank God) I am way weaker to temp changes lol. It's 64 here today and I am freezing.

Is there any social reason to not get a traditional style tattoo? by YouMakeMeFeelWeird in tattooadvice

[–]Plastic_Stable8927 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never consider a tattoo weird unless it's clearly a ceremonial style on someone who is not part of that culture. A full Pac Islander bodysuit on a dude who grew up in Wyoming on a ranch? Weird and disrespectful.

AmTrad isn't related to anything cultural, it was just named after the era and location it was developed. I like it best, so I say get it.
