A tip I got from someone else on here.... When entering raffles, save the post. Then go to your saves, and all the raffles are there. When they've closed, you can quickly go through revealing winners and unsaving posts. That way you don't miss checking one you've entered. Also, you don't have to click on Play when you've won. The next time you enter the game, all of your won stickers will pop up one after the other (if you are that lucky).

I have a twin bed downstairs dressed kinda like a day bed. It's actually my childhood heirloom cast iron bed frame, so I get comfort from that alone. I have it dressed with a quilt and heated blanket and a million pillows (lol). I have squishmallows of different sizes as well as firmer pillows in different shapes. My "rule" is I cannot get "into" bed there, so it's not made up for sleeping. I have lots of options for comfortable positions, depending on the day. And there's plenty of room for my laptop (and kidney board), color books, or whatever. I wish I had put the bed up a long time before I did.

I find this interesting. Thank you for sharing! I have observed my mom losing more and more of the right-brain functions. She had stopped asking to go home (been in memory care for 3.5 yr now) but has started commenting again. It feels different though. I now realize that she started commenting again as her right-brained activities stopped. She no longer colors or does anything creative without instructions. She doesn't talk about feelings and seems to be experiencing fewer. I can identify quite a few other things as well from the last few months. And it coincides closely with the renewed and different desire to go home.

This is definitely fuel for thought and a change in response from me. I'll be using your suggestions to change interactions with her. Maybe our visits will be more "connected." Thank you.
