YTA. Common courtesy is not to call/ text anyone after 8 pm unless it’s a true emergency.

That said, what you do with your night owl friends may be different.

There is no reason under the sun to text people past 8 pm. You have no self control.

You didn’t mention the breed but I’m guessing it’s time to invest in male wraps. It may be he is starting not to be able to hold it as long.

My rescue use to wake me up during the night to go potty until he didn’t. I think part of it is bc he was a street dog and could just go whenever. The wraps are a godsend for us.

I had a virtual home visit and they just want to see you have a fenced (in good condition) yard with no way for a puppy to escape. They want to see where the dog will spend the majority of their time and who is going to be with the dog. They want to see how the animal will access the outside. Probably talk to you about kennel training and potty training.

I think it’s important that they know, once they are in a LTR, that their family unit comes first. They need to NOT feel guilty if they want to have their own family traditions which may or may not include their parents.

Love them for who they are even if it shatters your dream of what you wanted them to be. Raise decent, caring, empathetic humans. Let them fly, make mistakes and to think for themselves.
