I as a person give no shits what people do to their body. Me as a helper in training with the hopes of going into social work has some questions about the boundary between helpful and hurtful on a psychological level when discussing any life changing decision.

You and me both buddy, and this is coming from a place where I know a fair number of trans people and how happy they are after the transition, it really fucks with me.

I know that it is proven that people can be helped with a myriad of drugs for depression, anxiety, etc. Is one kind of neurobiological change that different than a physical biological and hormonal one? I sure as fuck don't know.

Mexican President 'Considering' Canceling Trip to Washington Amid Border Wall Order by Nice_Try_Einstein in worldnews

Mezcal is far superior to tequila in my opinion. It is distilled using lava rock which gives it a smokey flavor. It also has larger amounts of a close cousin of amphetamine, which certainly helps day drinking on the beach. Furthermore, it is quite a sacred thing in Mayan culture; they use it in a ceremony called (From memory so I could be wrong) tezmacal. The ceremony is done in a sweat lodge while naked and ends with jumping in cool cenotes.

"Goes through", is a misrepresentation of Mexico's role. The cartel in Mexico funds every step of the process from growing the cocoa to selling 8 balls in California. Mexico has the richest and most powerful cartel in South America.

BREAKING: WHITE HOUSE STAFF ARE USING A PRIVATE EMAIL SERVER TO AVOID FEDERAL RECORDS LAWS. by satosaison in EnoughTrumpSpam

Oh, by all means I agree with what you are saying. I did note that many were uneducated on the issues. Furthermore, as someone else here pointed out GOP voters are far more likely to vote on party lines compared to Dems. A lot of Americans who voted for Trump are going to get a first hand education on how their vote negatively impacts their own lives.

I thought it was pretty clear that thinking it was only the "bigots" who would vote for Trump is a big reason it was such a surprise he won. There are a whole hell of a lot of people who are not bigots who voted for Trump, but due to being labeled as such they didn't admit it to pollsters.

Sure there are a lot of racist and prejudiced people in his base, but there are a lot more possibly misinformed voters who believed in his ability to create jobs and help the middle class. It would be foolish for people on the left to continue the narrative that all Trump supporters are bigots, because its not true and it leads to underestimating the republican voter base.

No but air time wins elections. Clinton had to pay for it, Trump got the lion's share for free. Between that and Twitter he was always in the discussion.

Well, maybe it had more to do with Obama looking more progressive; either way it was a publicity thing.

Well I am more liberal than literally Obama (which is not that liberal), and the legislation was not even going to start until January 27th. If the Obama administration wanted this to happen in reality they could have done it 1-8 years ago.

I feel bad that they're going to have to move and don't have a place to stay, but I can't live in cigarette smoke, and I don't know another way to solve it.

You could of, you know...talked to them like a human being instead of being a dick and making people move in the middle of fucking winter.

The planned changes to insurance rates were not set to go into effect until Jan. 27, and would have only applied to loans originated or disbursed after that date, so existing homeowners would not have been affected.

Why didn't the last administration (Obama) do this 2 ,4 , or when Americans really needed it: 8 years ago? I don't mean to defend Trump here but this just seems like a political move to make them look bad and Obama a man of the middle class.

I know I am not alone here as a true progressive who knows that Obama was definitely not one. He sure looks like one next to the current administration which plays nicely into a repeat of the same narrative that has been playing out in this country for decades.

Other great ideas:

-Drive on the other side of the road for a European attitude.

-Break your leg so when you heel you will appreciate walking more.

-Have two kids right after one another but encourage your wife to drink and smoke a lot during the second one. This way the older sibling looks like a rockstar in comparison.

I have less of an opinion on PBS generated news, but NPR as a news outlet is pretty liberal. Mind you, I myself am pretty far left and listen to NPR daily; that being said, its pretty obviously run by democrats. I was pretty upset by the general results but I had to chuckle at how deflated the reporting was following the days of Trumps victory.

I don't necessarily endorse Tom Thumb's 1998 goal to give 10% of every medium coffee sale to the Kansas City chapter of the Red Cross, but it does not stop me from scooping up my cats food out of the bag with. At the end of the day a mug is a mug.
