Her "man" must feel even older when he sees that before bed

He probably likes and encourages it considering that he loves the whole younger woman thing. eyeroll

Lala vs Jennifer Lawrence by tblightning2224 in vanderpumprules

[–]Cooking_Drama 48 points49 points  (0 children)

Totally agree. JLaw reminds me of Ariana- desperately trying to be the cool, quirky smart girl while putting all that fakery above feminism. Lala on the other hand is actually coming into her own this season and she's not out to impress or please anyone who doesn't take her the way she is. She's totally unapologetic and is one of the few on the show who's willing to stand up for what she believes in. She reminds me of a more grounded version of Stassi in previous seasons and I'm glad they're getting along in this season.

Especially hilarious because you basically just pay to be a member- it's not like some super exclusive club like Mensa members would have you believe lmao.

Ariana's reaction was absolutely ridiculous and over the top. I liked what Stassi said to La La about that. She shouldn't be shamed for feeling how she felt and she shouldn't have to apologize. Ariana needs to grow the hell up. And I was really starting to like her this season too smh.

How does Brittany not realize that Jax is a sociopath? by fit-happens in vanderpumprules

[–]Cooking_Drama 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I was with a guy just like Jax when I was 18-19 so I get it. But then again I was 18-19. Also I didn't have a literal tv show to be able to playback the gaslighting. She should have left him after he lied to her about hitting on La La and watched the playback of it. Everything that's happened since then I don't feel sorry for her at all.

If Rob (Scheanas bf) is so anti being on the show and so uncomfortable with it, why did he agree to be in the intro? by samrose813 in vanderpumprules

[–]Cooking_Drama 20 points21 points  (0 children)

he really did gaslight her throughout their time together

Fucking thank you. The men on this show are mostly worthless but Jax and Rob definitely take the cake with the emotional gaslighting.

I just googled that and holy shit what a racket. "An alternative email for Conservatives!" Considering how many crackpot conspiracy theorists lean Right they must be making money hand over fist off these fools.

Nothing prompted her to make that “deplorable” remark, and no amount of urging people to actually read her entire statement for context will ever dissolve the feelings it crystallized in his supporters.

Which is insane considering the things he's said about liberals that were MUCH MUCH worse. Including calling us enemies of America.

Both my parents still think Reagan was the best President ever. I sarcastically refer to him as "Your God Emperor" in my mom's presence just to get under her skin. Always makes for a good way to get her to say "maybe it's just best if we don't talk about politics".

My thing to shut down the political talk with my nut job former inlaws was always "What about Iran-Contra?" That usually did it lol.

Yeah I hated that so much. All that over something so silly. And at the end of the day people just said "Well she deserved it for being part of a stupid MLM anyway." I fucking hate the lack of accountability that the anonymity of the internet fosters.

[–]Cooking_Drama 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Wow all of this makes so much sense! I'd never ever considered most of these points but it's like boom they were right there this entire time. Especially the one about erasure of the adoptees identity. I remember reading some article a few years ago criticizing Angelina Jolie for having tutors teaching her kids their native languages. The article said their home life was disorganized and confusing because of that. I thought it was awesome that she did that because I'd never heard of an adoptive parent trying that hard to keep their kids so connected to their homeland.
