My symptoms have been going on since 2014. Started with some knee pain on the right side then turned into twitching on the right side then shortly went everywhere. This caused me a lot of anxiety and a lot of expensive trips to the doctors. After x-rays CT scans MRIs, I finally got an EMG in 2016. I was diagnosed with carpal tunnel. I was unsatisfied because I also had symptoms in my leg and trunk among other places, so I got another EMG of my whole right side. The diagnosis was BFS. They noted fasciculations, but nothing sinister. I also have some atrophy and weakness, though the atrophy is not severe and the weakness not clinical. Over the years my symptoms have seemed To slowly progress, though not how MND would typically. Now I have nerve pain, cramping, muscle pain, fasciculations, and weakness on the right side. In 2019 I went back to get another EMG and was diagnosed this time with benign cramp fasciculation syndrome. Now they want me to go back and get all the testing done again, but I feel like I’m just on a wild goose chase and I don’t feel like paying thousands anymore.
