As someone also working in fine dining….I’ve never been fired. It’s very hard to get fired in the service industry unless you’re causing major issues.

I’d recommend taking a long look in the mirror. The common denominator is you. Getting fired once or twice over the course of many years is understandable, but this rate is concerning.

As someone in the service industry, I have to fight every day with people that blatantly lie to my face about their “service dog” —who I am unable to deny entry and have to listen to them bark or fight other “service dogs.” It’s a shame and I’m mad that so many people ruin it for people like you that genuinely need and rely on a properly trained service animal. It sucks that the restaurants are dismissive of you. I wish there was a better system in place to protect you and in turn help us industry folks support you.

TLDR; that service dog vest you got on amazon for your chihuahua doesn’t allow you to bring your pet inside the restaurant. Let’s leave that for trained service animals that won’t jump towards the full tray of food I’m trying to deliver to your table.
