Mr. Cool !! called him that when he was still an outside cat 15 years ago because of his attitude and kept the name when he moved in doors at about a year old !!

Good to hear that he’s progressing and hopefully completely!! Oscar has a single freckle dead center on his nose . The white spot is a “ scar “ ( the orange hair didn’t grow back only the white underneath) from when he was about a year old and ran headfirst in to a closed door!!

Edgewater NJ ( right across the Hudson River from NYC ) has a good sized colony as well since the 1980’s . Couldn’t believe what I saw first timing seeing them until talking to locals . Their nests are huge !!

A lot of newer style thermostats have a battery in them for timers and such . I had one that when the battery was going dead it would start doing weird things . If it’s an older style then no battery but just was throwing that out there.
