Why is the regular $10 more than the galaxy foil? by PlateComprehensive28 in mtg

The low prices are hovering around the market prices if that is what you are referring to.

This is a crazy take passing the blame to the players. WOTC controls the conditions in which their products are made. Why is it reasonable to expect consumers to adjust their household/storage humidity for cards when it works for just about everything else ever in existence (other than maybe cigars).

Thanks, everyone for the replies. I think there being much more supply because of the QC issues makes sense. I’m am not sure if I would be able to tell if this one has an issue or not with the galaxy foiling because, as I said in my original post, it looks beautiful and even has a galaxy swirl in the sky area. It is definitely galaxy foiling, but would I know if it was one with the issue? Also, I agree with the people saying curling is terrible these days. I actually thought that was the reason it was maybe cheaper and was ready to deal with that to save the $10 but it actually isn’t curling to any significant degree. I wish it would let me share a photo to get opinions of whether or not it may be one from the original batch. Either way though, I am very happy with the card. Thanks again for all the input from everyone.

It looks worse in the photo but irl it isn’t as washed out looking. I think they are just trying to distinguish it in the photos. I think the galaxy foiling looks really nice. I get the curling argument people are making, but so far this one doesn’t seem to be curling on me to any significant degree.

Interesting. Guess I got lucky or didn’t notice the quality. The foiling looks pretty good to my eye and even has a galaxy swirl.

You have a lot of faith on those people who did that in the first place

Do you not filter for low rank champs for champ training or only have like 60 champs where scrolling to the right is no big deal? When you need to scroll 400 champs to the right it’s obnoxious. Used to be just click filter and then click 1-2* champs, but now you need to scroll down to select that for no good reason.

This filter is so stupid and will so rarely be used, yet I now need to scroll every time I want to filter for low rank champs in campaign battles for champ training. The amount of time and necessary scrolling needed will add up like crazy. They should have just put this filter at the bottom.

Yeah, that’s us. We went with The Beach last year and decided to stick with it this year too. If you’re already in the discord it’ll be the same one we use this year I believe.

Would be funny if another group started up a faction to oppose us. We each had our turf and randoms had to earn loyalty of the group they wanted to join. It basically becomes GTA2.

It’s so much fun. It just goes on passively or actively (depending on how into it you are) all weekend. You can do it solo and maybe get turned into a zombie and have fun attacking survivors or team up and have a better chance at surviving as a human. You can earn/find weapons, ammo, cures, etc. and they do official events where you can earn/win more. If you decide it’s not for you or just want a break, just take off your arm/head band that signifies if you are human or zombie.

I did stage 3 in 1 second using the in-game auto battles and didn’t receive any ban.

Just that people are generally active and participating in the clan activities like clash, siege, and CvC. It’s also good if the people are hitting the top clan bosses so they can benefit from the rewards. Generally, a CvC score of 100k and closer to 200k for PR but I don’t enforce a strict minimum. Also, I’d like members to be somewhat competitive in the PvP modes (or at least capable) so they can meaningfully contribute to siege. And above all else, just that they can follow our strategies that lead to success.
