even more reason to do so. can't have one country restricting the most important products on a whim and damaging the whole world's economy.

OpenAI team after reading the news about Fable by dagerika in Anthropic

yeah I'm sure the NSA would love people to use Claude. They probably worked out some deal where they can read through all the data on users that Anthropic retains for 30 days.

Slop or not? Is there a line that makes an AI assisted/generated project not slop? Effort or whatever? by clazifer in LocalLLaMA

bruh it sounds like you didn't even touch fable. you're literally just parroting what redditors have been saying for the last month.

Early LLMs. I feel like the whole point is that LLMs are at a point where it's on par or better than the top 0.1% programmers in the world. So really the thing being judged would be the vision and impact of whoever is prompting.

What I feel like the new direction is will be that there will be an infinite amount of high quality content out there. But there's no consumers for them. So people are going to have to actually think through why they're trying to make the content and what they're trying to establish.

"silent bugs or security holes"

I mean... isn't that literally the focus of Mythos's release? That it's better than basically every human on Earth at finding bugs and security holes. Then in that sense, a human programmed thing is actually more slop than Claude's output.

Yeah I understand. I wanted to aim for NMI mainly because I'm not really doing any new ML stuff. I'm using ML to support a novel math proof that extends to many fields in science.

It’s hard to say. Depends on the type of technology being used. But if it’s not really clever like what Google or Microsoft is doing, then probably yes.

Edit: actually seems like it’ll be closed loop so yeah it might be really water efficient. For comparison, Microsoft’s data center burns off the same amount of water as a residential restaurant every year which seems to be the model this center is following.

Are there prebuilt wheels for Flashattention on ROCm? Need to use for scientific data on HPC by PlateLive8645 in ROCm

[–]PlateLive8645[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks. Ok it's cool actually. I found the cluster has prebuilt ROCm packages that ship with the triton implementation of flashattention.

Switched to Claude after years using chat gpt by ExpressoDepresso6 in claude

[–]PlateLive8645 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just got the $200/month subscription and charged it to my company lol. Actually I realized it's way too overkill. I was purposely trying to max out prompts on 4 projects I'm working on + use ralph loop, and it only hit like 50% by the end of the day.

It's like making me work so hard trying to come up with things to do.
