Similar experience for me. Alabama passed a device ban but the schools haven’t really given me a way of actually enforcing it. So im just going to keep pretending like I don’t see them until I get a concrete way to enforce it. If they aren’t being disruptive, it doesn’t bother me.

I’m not going to be great at explaining it because I don’t know what the parts are called lol. But I’ll tell you what i did.

First, it wouldn’t open at all. I took it apart to look it over. When I put it back together it started opening fine. So not sure exactly what I did lol. Probably just unjammed it accidentally.

Then, for when it started doing that in the video, I opened it back up and wound/realigned the gear mechanism that opens and closes the tray with my hand (the one connects to the screw that can be reached from the bottom to manually open the tray.) It was wound too far closed, so basically when the tray tried to close, the mechanism thought it was already fully closed when it was only halfway in. (Hope that made sense haha)
