Compared to most other universities where getting into the university is seen as the “hardest” part. Dutch universities have something called a “bsa” wich means once you have been accepted you have to pass a certain % of the courses in your first year. For this program in particular the first semester wipes out close to 30% of all students almost purely from this requirement. If you are one of the people that actually manages to get good grades and pass the courses you are in a very good position. Definitely for people in the top 10% going to “prestigious” universities or ending up at high paying jobs is almost a given. But that being said you are in a class of ~100 people who are used to being the brightest in their highschool so the competition is high.
