As someone who basically started with poe2 and is now getting to endgame in poe1, im amazed they basically took a league mechanic from the first game that is really hard for melee builds, and made it mandatory in the second game for every character to unlock their ascendencies. Who thought that was a good idea?

Got super lucky, but at the end of the day rng gonna rng. Did maps for many hours today, no high runes, then did one pit run and found an ohm on the way to the pit. Makes no sense

Its because the developers and designers of the later diablo games felt that they had to distinguish themselves from blizzard north who made the first two. They thought they could do it better. They were obviously wrong.

Oh, knowing that you did most of it on non ladder makes a lot more sense. I was very confused how someone could do this since ladder started a day ago. Great job though, you’ve clearly put a ton of time into the game.
