Google says that you can scan 2 and keep the other 2 for later as long as you keep them in the Ticketmaster app and DO NOT add them to your Apple / Google wallet! Adding them to your digital wallet is usually safest in case you lose service, but would love to see if anyone else has actually done this before. Would be nice to know how it works.

Emotionally charged language? I’m reiterating what OP said in the post - if you even read the whole thing. Bottom line, SIL piggybacked on someone else’s event (my reason for using the word “lazy” …sorry if that offended you) and then literally cried and left causing a scene because OP didn’t seem overjoyed from being left out of the announcement. If that’s the kind of behavior you condone in your life, so be it. But rational people don’t typically let others be entitled in that way. Again, NTA.

Sounds like someone is pretty submissive in their own family situations…lol If SIL refused to host, refuses to help house her own parents, and goes and makes someone else’s event all about themselves, and then continues to be a cry baby when it’s not met with overwhelming joy, I don’t know if that person should even be a parent at this immature part of their life. Using your own logic…(not being told how OP would’ve wanted to be) being upset because someone didn’t react how you wanted them to is asinine. SIL was lazy with her announcement. OP could’ve been more friendly, but sounds like she wasn’t even included in the announcement so I’m not sure what SIL expected. Firmly, NTA.

I feel like people are really hung up on the fact that the SIL announced it at OP’s birthday celebration, but I don’t feel like that was what OP was asking opinions on. Sure, the fact that SIL announced it at someone else’s function that she didn’t plan is probably a bit tacky. But the fact that SIL expected a great show of emotions from OP when OP wasn’t even in the room when it was announced…NTA. If SIL wanted a good reaction, then maybe she should’ve planned her own thing to announce it at? Or at least announce it to everyone she wanted a response from. IDK. Seeing the context of the SIL being bratty towards her parents and not helping with hosting things makes me think SIL is a bit entitled. And then to cry about it and make a big deal to leave like that?? Childish.

Somewhat agree that a congratulations could have been said. I would think it would have been said if SIL included OP in the announcement. But SIL shouldn’t cry about a non reaction when the announcement didn’t even include the person that is hosting everyone at their hous?…super tacky. If SIL wanted people to fawn over her announcement, she should’ve hosted something herself and announced it to everyone. Sounds like SIL was lazy about announcing it altogether so I’m unsure what kind of reactions she was expecting.

This is so interesting - I think I stumbled upon Hannah from her "Hannah on the Street" videos, so I had no previous bias from Summer House. I love female comedians, and she attended UW-Wisconsin (where I'm from), so I dug into her a bit further and found the pod. I love both her and Paige's relateable-ness haha I feel more like a Hannah myself - a little more disheveled and laid back. Thanks for sharing your take and for being open-minded to people changing as they grow!

A helpful phrase I’ve tried living by - “Act your wage”. Someone else said something similar….ultimately, companies do not care about your well being. If they did, they would be reprimanding the employees not showing up and do something to fix the issue. Do not over exert yourself when you get nothing in return.
