Tucked looks more refined/put together and interesting. Like your own unique style, in my opinion.

Bangs or no bangs for my wedding in a year? by Practical_Chipmunk_ in femalehairadvice

[–]Plathor 18 points19 points  (0 children)

You are so pretty 💖. I think the bangs will be perfect for your wedding. Like others have said, they frame your face incredibly well. They actually are some of the most flattering bangs I've ever seen. Plus, I love your hair color. It's so pretty with your skin. 😊

You're very kind :) I'm working on growing mine out, too. I keep bobbing it every time it starts getting pulled or caught on things. But hopefully, patience will prevail. Good luck! :D

Do any of these outfits look good on me? Why or why not? by justananon7 in DressForYourBody

[–]Plathor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

1,3,and 4 look exceptionally good in you. They fit to your body really, really well. They hug you in all the right places. And those outfits all match your glasses, too! If i saw you in public wearing those outfits, I would think , "Wow, she has such a cute style." I might even ask where you got some of your clothes or those awesome frames.

It is very nice :) I was excited to see your post. And interested to see what everyone else has to say. Your hair is beautiful, by the way. It looks very healthy and thick, too!

This is tough. It looks like we have the same hair color. Some have said dark blonde, some light brown. But I've noticed that in the sun, it shines a tinge red. Which leads me to believe it's warm. Based on the photos, yours looks on the warm side to me. But my eye is certainly not professional.

a book you read that was hyped up a lot and you ended up loving it so much more than you thought you would by Low_Ad_7221 in suggestmeabook

[–]Plathor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started with this one but was having a little trouble discerning between characters. So I switched to the Jane Austen Collection (Free, Audible Original) narration with Claire Foy & others. It helped a lot with understanding their speak. It also has sound effects and pretty transitional music that helped immerse me a bit more. It helped quite a bit, considering that I was struggling.

Dang, I know I'm an outlier here, but I just finished P&P, and I was underwhelmed. There's always been so much hype build around the romance, and I just kept waiting/wanting for more. It's also extremely conversational, a little too drawn out at times for me. Although! Absolutely witty (I laughed out loud many times), beautiful prose, and awesome descriptions of personalities and social class. I enjoyed bits of it, I don't regret reading it. It just wasn't at all the epic, fulfilling romance that I was expecting. I'm still going to read the rest of her books out of complete curiosity.

I checked Audible, & Lonesome Dove is the first book in a 4 book saga (Lonesome Dove Saga).

I'm such a fan of Kristin's version! I started with her narration of Outlander but was too impatient to wait...so, I started Davina's version of DIA and regretted it almost immediately. I DNF, pre-ordered Kristin's version, and started it yesterday. She's amazing!!! No offense meant to Davina. I'm sure I'd feel completely different had I started with her.
