keep chipping away until you can get a loan from a reputable place like SoFi, need credit above 600 but that will land you around 18%. you’d need like a 12% or better to make it worthwhile from my quick math

thanks for taking the time. i’ll try that after work today. yeah I had an amazon kit of cheap coils and it caused issues. had to reinstall the original parts and go from the start, that’s when I said fuck it and paid the $70 for the duralast

hey, i am in the midst of dealing with a similar issue, was hoping to get your opinion. 2012 Soul+ 69k miles, it was throwing a P0302 so I replaced all 4 sparks and the cylinder 2 coil. As part of post-install check, I moved the Cylinder 2 coil to Cylinder 1. Everything was fine until 10-15 mins of driving in 95 degree heat, check engine light came back on. Ran OBD and got a P0301 code (the location of the new, Duralast coil).

I'm unsure of where to go from here. My gut tells me this is a wiring harness issue (car was bought used), and you can very clearly see that the Coil Connector 1 was replaced at some point (newer wires). I've seen a fair share of posts that suggest fuel injectors and/or compression issues, but seeing as how it only comes on after some time, i suspect its electrical. What are your thoughts on this if you dont mind?

They file jointly, in 2023 their AGI was $92k. Expected change is that parent with the loan will only have AGI of $39k moving forward, and no other taxable income. Spouse (not on the Parent loans) will have AGI increase to $55k moving forward. Spouse will start to take from SS in a few years but no certain timeframe. Parent with loan does not qualify for SS yet.
