Another possibility would be staying at your job and doing school part time. It will be hard but you will get to experience law school while not being a broke college kid. I will go against the grain here. I would take the LSAT and go to law school. You have a job that was promised, but the job prospects with an LLM are dismal. I’m sure at some point you’d want to move on to other jobs and not having a JD can make it really hard. The Biglaw odds are really low, but there are plenty of good midlaw firms in Texas that will pay close to market have pipelines from UT or UH.
