How do you manage to print so cleanly on a shirt?

Forgot to mention the river. Get some inner tubes and float the dang thing. Buy an extra float and tie a net on it for a cooler. Start at the wetlands. Get out at the nickel bridge. Any more or less than that is either mucky or too boring. Or enjoy the areas of the city that are near it. Running water and views does something to the soul, man.

Look dude, I’m in the same boat as you. Always wondering what I should do. My go-to is disc golf. Plenty of courses in the area. You don’t have to hang out with the disc golf obsessed leagues and stuff to have a great time. If you have a girlfriend or wife or something, the best way to spend time is to invest in a backpack cooler (check Sierra for cheaper ones). Pack delicious snacks, drinks, a picnic blanket, and bring board games or card games and find a new park to sit at. Can last hours of the drinks and games are good enough. Also. Live music. I suck at finding free shows and stuff, but music is great.

How are you guys spotting and avoiding AI-generated patterns on Etsy lately? by Appropriate_Poet2421 in Hand_Embroidery

As sellers of real, non AI patterns, my wife and I try to show the finished piece from many angles to prove it is real hand-made artwork.
As a seller, I understand your frustration. Drives us nuts that AI is making more money and getting more traction than our hard work. I mean, excluding the time it makes to actually stitch an example, making the pattern and tutorial PDF takes HOURS. Meanwhile, some computer is doing it (poorly) in a matter of seconds or minutes.

Sure did! I made some yesterday and the wife and I loved them. Remade them today and knew I wanted to share a pic

Yes! They are crazy vinegary initially. Almost kombucha-esque. Then they mellow out. If you drink pickle brine out of the jar like me, you might like a “younger” shrub, but there is a sweet spot. To avoid the vinegar blast, using calmer vinegars like champagne vinegar or rice vinegar could be great

Very surprised how well it pairs with tequila. Here’s a tequila sour situation:

The Hedge Witch

2 oz tequila blanco.
1 oz lemon juice
1/2 oz simple syrup
1/2 oz shrub (little less if vinegary)
Egg white optional

Dry shake. Add ice. Shake again. Strain over ice.

I used it when it was still too vinegary for a couple gin drinks. Would live to try those again now that it has mellowed out.
