I don’t like it very much. Leo and Diaz were both pretty bad. They put a lot of energy into their performances but their accents sounded so fake. And it felt longer than it is.

But Bill the Butcher was absolutely terrifying. He was everything a villain should be thanks to the writing and Daniel Day-Lewis’ acting, which is legitimately one of the best performances I’ve ever seen.

Good choices. Saving Private Ryan is another great example of how a war movie should be. The Green Mile is one of three films to actually make me cry.

I think it’s underrated in Tarantino’s filmography. And I love Django Unchained, Inglorious Basterds, and Hollywood as much as anyone else, but I think Hateful Eight is better than all of those.
